PHYLICIA RASHĀD

Phylicia Rashād is popularly known for her Emmy Award-winning role in NBC’s The Cosby Show, as Claire Huxtable.  After the sitcom, Rashād further solidified her industry status by taking on projects with cultural and societal significance like Touched by an Angel and Colored Girls. Today, many people within and outside the industry consider these performances as some of the actress’s biggest contributions to the craft.

Her exceptional role eventually gave her the Outstanding Supporting Actress award from the Black Reel Awards. Up until now, the actress is still an active personality. Being an award-winning actress that she is, movie and television roles still pour over her schedule. She still has the degree of enthusiasm to work in front of the camera. Rashad even starred in movies such as Soul and A Fall from Grace in 2020. In fact, Phylicia will appear in season 17 of the long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.
