DEON RICHMOND

Dean Richmond rose to fame for his recurrent role in The Cosby Show, where he played Kenny, Rudy Huxtable’s best friend. A few years after the sitcom ended, Richmond was able to bag another role, this time as Jordan Bennett in the Sister series. Besides acting, Richmond also tried his luck in working as a broadcaster and host in Dallas radio stations.  However, as Richmond enjoyed what seemed to be a promising career as a multi-talented celebrity, he faced a personal battle for his health.

Richmond was diagnosed with a critical health condition, leading him to undergo chemotherapy for a year. He would then struggle to regain his health as more and more health challenges hit his body. Richmond might have used his medical insurance to pay for his treatment. Despite this, Richmond was still able to accept roles in the early 2000s. Richmond has not been in the limelight in the past few years, which suggests that he enjoys his life while taking care of his health.
