Actor and Oscar-winning filmmaker Ron Howard, who is best known for being the main man behind the camera in numerous movie hits, reportedly sold this Connecticut mansion for a whopping $27.5 million. Indeed, the sale is on record for being the most expensive in the Westchester area. The investment property boasts 32 acres of land, its lake, and—believe it or not—its stargazing observatory. The Howard estate contains six bedrooms, five full baths, and four partial baths.

It’s a simple feat for Howard since he is worth an estimated value of $200 million. To a certain degree, the man deserves nothing but the best since he has worked hard throughout his career. The home was in the Howard family’s possession for 20 years, but Ron decided to sell because his kids are now adults and have moved out of the house. In a press release, Howard expressed his memories of the home but stated that it is time for his family to move on.
