STEVE HARVEY – $7.7 MILLION, CHICAGO

Businessman, comedian, and host of The Steve Harvey Show, Steve Harvey, gained wider recognition for completely botching his announcement of the winner of the Miss Universe Pageant. Interestingly, Steve reportedly rented his apartment at Trump International Hotel and Tower for five years and never once thought about buying it for himself.

We’re not sure why the host didn’t simply buy the investment property since he had the money to do so, but it was somehow acquired by someone else to the tune of $7.7 million. The apartment sits at the heart of the city and with such a gorgeous view, one can’t go wrong with writing a check for a home this beautiful. Modern and classic architecture are scattered throughout the apartment with hints of personality here and there. At $1,400 per square foot, the unit was said to have been sold for much higher than its market value.
