Eric Hill passed away back in 2014, due to the physical trauma he sustained following a paragliding accident. Although he is an experienced paraglider, he couldn’t control the air turbulence that hit him against the mountain. Whilst the 32-year-old was rushed to a nearby hospital, Eric later succumbed to the severity of his injuries. He was part of the 10th season of The Bachelorette, and got eliminated in the 4th week. Eric was the only contestant to pass away before their season aired.

According to her sister, Eric lived his life to the fullest until his last breath. Even before joining the TV show, he had visited more than 50 United Nation countries in just 40 weeks where he documented his journey on his website, GO with Eric: The Global Odyssey.
